Tiananmen Square, you’ve probably heard of it right?
Have you ever been in China and tried to google it? The results are definitely not the same as what you get in the states. Especially if you image search it.
We had to go through security and put our bags through xray machines. AFter going through security to get into the square we walked towards the square.
And here we are.
Here’s Angela and Jason.
And me!
There were a good amount of people here, considering…
China Pride
I kind of wanted a flag myself. But I didn’t end up getting one.
A screen that shows a video, I think it was telling you to join the army. Not sure.
This is the outside of the Forbidden City. I actually ended up not going to it. Angela and Jason were telling me if you don’t even stop and just walk through and not even look at everything it takes a few hours. My trip was short, so I’ll go when I go back to Beijing 🙂
Jason pretending to be a paparazzi taking pictures (this one was the only one at a good angle ;p)
And then the escalator at one of the subway stations nearby Tiananmen Square. We were trying to figure out how to get back home, because there were no places to grab a taxi!
The next post will be the Great Wall of China! And it will be my last vacationing blog post for a while 🙂
xoxo
