Vacationing in Beijing Part 1 — Beijing, China

I know you guys were all excited when I posted my last Vacationing in the Philippines blog. But after the Philippines, I went to Beijing, China!

These were my hosts for the trip, Angela and Jason.

There will be a lot of pictures of them, because you know how I love candids!

So a lot of the places I went to, I don’t know what part of town I was in. I’m pretty sure they told me, and I just forgot.

Some random street with cute stores.

Do you want to ride one?

A guy painting on the street.

PINIMAGE

We weren’t exactly sure what this guy was doing. But he was walking around the place with his ‘pet’??

PINIMAGE

Getting a sweet potato to eat.

PINIMAGE

He weighed it old school style to see how much it would cost.

PINIMAGE

This guy writes stuff for you with his paint brush with water on the street.

Some lake place with restaurants (I’m really bad at this.. I should just figure out the names of all these places to be more accurate for you)

PINIMAGE

And there were a bunch of places where you could get giant cotton candy!

PINIMAGE

It looks like this girl is telling her boyfriend to get one for her..

PINIMAGE

We were really debating on if we should get one because everyone had one.

PINIMAGE

In the end, we decided not to, thinking it would spoil our appetites for dinner, but it looked sooo good!

A tandem bike on the road.

PINIMAGE

I really want to get a cute bike. ;p

The dogs in Beijing are different. They’re soo cute!

PINIMAGE

The next day we went near Tiananmen Square where there were some shops. (We also went to Tiananmen Square, but that will be the next blog post).

PINIMAGE

PINIMAGE

A slow moving train-type thing that takes you from one end of the shopping area to the other.

PINIMAGE

They saw me taking a picture so they waved.

PINIMAGE

There’s a lot of China pride. A lot of kids had flags in their hands.

PINIMAGE

We crossed the street so that we cold go to Tiananmen Square.

And my next blog post will be photos from inside Tiananmen Square 🙂
