Friday March 12 was the premiere of 1040. It was at the Directors Guild of America (DGA) in West Hollywood.

It is a documentary of Christianity in the new Asia.

I didn’t take too many pictures at the premiere because I wasn’t officially ‘press’ even though I had a press badge.

I think I just went because I wanted to take a picture of MC Hammer πŸ˜‰

Here’s Carl Choi, he was the executive producer of the movie.

PINIMAGE

Here is MC Hammer. I believe he is talking to Jason Ma.

PINIMAGE

And here’s a group picture of people that were involved with the movie. MC Hammer, Jason Ma, Sean (from the korean hip hop group Jinusean), Carl Choi, and I’m not sure who the last fellow is.

PINIMAGE

Can you see the LINK booth in the back? Libery in North Korea.

Anyways, yeah. I wanted to take a picture of MC Hammer πŸ™‚

I had the privilege of doing Jae and Denise’s engagement photos. Β They are getting married this year on June 26, 2010.

Jae and Denise got engaged at Disneyland, so they decided to do a few engagement photos there.

If you ever hear their engagement story it’s really cute. Jae put a lot of thought and time into the proposal.

Anyways, here’s some photos!

PINIMAGE

Jae proposed to Denise while in a boat on the Storybook ride. He had it all pre-planned with Disneyland.

PINIMAGE

The Peter Pan ride is Denise’s favorite ride.

PINIMAGE

Jae’s favorite character is Mickey Mouse so we took some photo’s inside of Mickey’s house.

Here they are on Mickey’s couch.

PINIMAGE

And sitting in front of Mickey’s fireplace.

PINIMAGE

PINIMAGE

Here’s Jae playing the Piano for Denise in Mickey’s house.

PINIMAGE

And here’s a few of the cute couple.

PINIMAGE

This one is my favorite photo of the day. You can’t really tell they are at Disneyland, but I LOVE it! πŸ™‚

I’m excited to go the their wedding. The ceremony is going to be a Catholic ceremony at a Catholic church, and then the reception is going to be at… one of the hotels at Disneyland. I believe it’s called the California Grand Hotel.

Doing a shoot in a crowded theme park is definitely a lot more difficult then somewhere more secluded. It’s hard keeping random children and people out of the picture. But hey, nothing in life is easy right? πŸ™‚

Esther and Daniel are getting married at the Esperanza Resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico on May 1.

Here are a few pictures from my previous trip of Cabo and of the Esperanza Resort.

And here are photos from the recent trip.

One of the pools-adults only. [well technically there are 2 pools]. As you can see, the pool is right on the beach!

When we went into downtown, my mom got con-ed into buying a broken toy form the little kids selling stuff on the streets.

So I named him. His name is Pepe, and his donkey/horse? is Don Julio. He’ll pop up time to time in pictures πŸ˜‰

PINIMAGE

And of course, I had to have a cocktail. My drinks name- Tropical Goddess.

PINIMAGE

I didn’t take a lot of pictures of the Esperanza itself. 1 because it was raining. 2 because I took pictures during my previous trip. 3 I will have more time on the next trip- Esther and Daniel’s wedding!

  • Chrissy Kim Photography - […] They’re real wedding ceremony is this weekend in Cabo San Lucas at the Esperanza Resort. […]

During my trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico this past weekend [for Esther and Daniel’s engagement photos] I stayed at the Sheraton Hacienda del mar Gold Resort and Spa.

It was pretty there.

For everyone who is going to Esther and Daniel’s wedding, these pictures are just a preview of what you’ll be experiencing.

Here is the backside of the entrance to the hotel-more inside.

This is the view from the room.

At the stairs. A pretty heart.

On the beach.

Cabo San Lucas is such a beautiful place. We rented a car and were able to drive into downtown and eat and just shop around.

It’s definitely a place you have to visit.

Sorry that these are all the pictures I took while at the Sheraton. We got there Friday night, and I took these photos Saturday morning, and then it rained and poured all day saturday! and then we checked out Sunday and it was still raining.

But I hope that you like what you did get to see!

Here are photos from Esther and Daniel‘s Engagment shoot.

We did this shoot in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico–Where they are getting married in May.

It was raining the day we planned to do the engagement shoot, so there’s not as much variety as there should be since we had to squeeze in their engagement shoot before we left. But its better to rain when we were there then for their wedding.

Here they are at the Sheraton Hacienda Del Mar Golf and Spa Resort just looking out to the rain.

PINIMAGE

Here they are at the Esperanza Resort where they will be getting married.

PINIMAGE

PINIMAGE

And here on the rocks on the beach that is part of the Esperanza Resort.

PINIMAGE

PINIMAGE

Writing names in the sand is harder then you think because of all the foot prints.

PINIMAGE

PINIMAGE

There will be more photos of the Cabo trip in my next posts. These one’s were just of Esther and Daniel for their engagement pictures.
