I headed over to Gowanus with the Potter family.

Gowanus is a pretty cool neighborhood. There’s lots of different options to take photos at! There’s the canal, bridges, warehouses, and just cool and different buildings.

I like to call this photo – when you’re part of the family, but you don’t want to take photos with them! PINIMAGEPINIMAGE

And this next photo- the azn gangsta squat

PINIMAGEIt was fun to shoot the Potters and I’m glad we were able to get some good shots on the hot and sweaty day! PINIMAGEWe also can’t forget about their dog Bruni!

Ever since the weather got nice in New York (by nice I mean no longer cold!) It has been raining every weekend.

Esme’s party was supposed to be outside but then the night before, the weather said it was going to rain! So the party was moved indoors! And then, of course,  it decided not to rain! But it was hot, so it was nice that the party was inside with Air conditioning!

Esme’s 3rd Birthday was a Dragon theme! (Her 2nd birthday was cats!)

PINIMAGECupcakes are so much easier than cakes! Especially to hand out to the kiddos!
PINIMAGEPINIMAGEPINIMAGEPINIMAGEIt’s also fun to watch little ones eat cupcakes!

I’ll be in New York for a few more weeks until I go back home to San Diego, so I booked a few family portraits during my time left here.I had a to reschedule a few due to the rain but I was able to get the Northrop Family photos done in between the rain!

I enjoy doing shoots at Cobble Hill Park because not only is there greenery, but you also get some colors due to the homes right next to the park.

Anyways, here are some photos of the Northrops!

It was Mothers Day, so a set of grandparents were in town and we were able to get some shots in with them too!

The weather in New York City has finally gotten better (yay! no more winter!- but we kind of went straight to summer. However, as I am writing this, there’s a rainstorm happening), so a trip to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden to see the Cherry Blossoms was a must!

Let me just let you know, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden gets busy! When I first walked in, there were so many people under the trees taking photos. I was there for maybe 2 hours, and was able to take a few quick snaps when i noticed the entry was not too busy.

And then of course I also had to have someone take a photo of me in my “go to” pose. (Basically the only yoga pose I can do that looks pretty)

PINIMAGEI went with my nephew and met up with his friends. And we were trying to pick the pretty flowers off from the floor to fill up our buckets.

We parked near the Brooklyn Museum, so of course more photos were needed.PINIMAGEPINIMAGE

Even though I’ve lived in New York for 2 years, I need to explore a little bit more before I go back home in a few weeks!
