I went one night to the Hi Seoul Festival in Seoul.
The night that I went was the night of the fireworks.
Let me just say, there are soooo many people in this tiny little country.
I got on the subway, and the closer we got to the park, the more crowded and sardine packed we were in the subway.
At the stop, everyone just flooded out, police were everywhere getting people to go in certain directions to make things less congested.
Streets were closed so people could just walk in the middle of the street — something that doesn’t happen in Korea. Cars have the right of way, not pedestrians. So if you get hit by a car, it’s your fault for being in the cars way.
I took some pictures of people walking down the street. I couldn’t really stop because people were walking behind me, and people don’t like it when you randomly stop.
So here are some fireworks.
The little handheld fireworks arent illegal here– I guess they are more like firecrackers?
I want to buy some one day and take pictures. But that’s one day..
I hope you enjoyed!
