My cousin took me to a coffee place about 1/2 an hour outside of Seoul.
This coffee house is actually a traditional korean home from back in the day.
These are the types of houses that Koreans used to live in. And this particular place was the residence of someone who was wealthy
Now that people don’t really live like this anymore it’s now a cute little place to grab some coffee and toast.
Here’s the entrance.
Inside.
Here’s my cousin taking a picture. He told me something pretty cool about the windows and doors. In the summer time they lift up the doors for better circulation. If you look in the 3rd picture of this post, the windows can also open out.
Here’s my cousin’s son, who was in my previous post.
Here’s a random bird cage that I saw on the property.
And a nest.
Just a random chair.
And some flowers.
Hopefully, during my stay in Korea, I’ll be able to take some more photos about Korea’s culture 🙂
xoxo
