So I love it when work pays for dinner!
It was one of the teacher’s last week, so we had a good bye dinner – paid for by the school!
So here we are eating meat and having some drinks!
Here’s June and Heather. Me and June went to training together, so we complain a lot to each other. Training for JLS is hell. And working for JLS is even harder. Heather is like my mama. I call her mama, and she calls me baby.
Chloe, June and Heather. Chloe is like me. Not a Korean citizen. She’s from Canada, but I don’t put that against her :p
Grace and Me. We’re the younger ones.
Joy and May. I had to observe a bunch of Joy’s classes when before I started working. Her classroom is next to mine, and I always hear her because she talks into a mic during class. ;p May is an Ace teacher (so she teaches the middle school kids, as in where I am a Chess teacher so I teach elementary kids) so I don’t see May that much. Only randomly in the teachers lounge. Ace teachers are on the other side of the building.
Joy, May, Suki, and Chloe. Suki is also an Ace teacher, so I don’t see her much either.
Heather and one of the Team Jangs. I don’t know what oyu would say a team-jang is in english. I guess you can say a receptionist, but they’re a lot more than receptionists. Sometimes they get called captain. ;p
Suki, Chloe, and June.
It was Michael’s good-bye dinner. So here’s Jean(a), Michael, Chloe, and June.
Me and Chloe talking. It looks like I’m giving her a weird look. Which, most of the time, I do give off that type of look :p
So after dinner, a few of us went out for more drinks.
Here’s Jean(a). His name’s Jean, but I call him Jeana! ;p He’s also like me, a foreign teacher. He’s from New Zealand.
What movie does this remind you of?
Kung Fu Panda!!! You know the scene that I’m talking about right?!
And the end of the night.
So that’s it from that night. You may get more JLS photos until I leave Korea. I may even add some videos of my kids (but my video editing skills are not tat great) :p
