While I was at City Hall with my uncle, there was a type of festival going on on the lawn. Apparently, where this lawn is, is kind of unique to Korea because it’s just a grassy lawn. Because Korea is such a small country, with a lot of people, having unused land is kind of a waste.
Anyways, it was pretty cool.
I saw a lady painting a ceramic bowl in traditional korean clothing (hanbok)
Ladies embroidering.
We got there as the festival was ending. So everyone was walking out.
And I saw some kids playing with kites.
Being able to see these kinds of things gets me all giddy because even though I’m not good at history, I like seeing how things were done in the past and how they are done in the present. And just being able to see hand made paintings, embroideries.
