So I’ve been working on my new project.

Hopefully I’ll have the new website up in 2 weeks.

I’ll still be blogging here, because my other website won’t have a blog :)

Here are a few photos from a shoot that I did while working on my new project!

I’m getting ready for holiday photos :) Experimenting and what not.. (Lesson from this shoot was learned, do not use a white background when working with lights)

Here’s baby Natalie.

Did you notice a difference in watermark. It’s an In Focus San Diego watermark right now. Still using my mark with it :)

And don’t forget to like In Focus San Diego on facebook!

The Ladies of F6ix — September 2011 — San Diego, CA

Saturday, September 24th, 2011

I had the wonderful opportunity to take some photos of the Cocktail Servers and Bartenders of F6ix.

It was a long day of getting hair and make up done, and then of course, the photo shoot.

Here are my favorite photos from the day!

I’m currently working on a project I had with the girls from this shoot. Photoshop is the death of me. Hopefully I’ll have it done soon!

Welcome into the world Jacob — New York

Friday, June 3rd, 2011

So I love when I go on a trip and someone I know has a baby! Because what does that mean?? Babies first photo shoot!

Welcome into the world Jacob!

I took these photos a week after he was born.

And during the first half of the session, he was not having it.

After he got fed, he was a little bit more accepting of getting his photo taken. But he still refused to open his eyes for me.

I love it when babies wrinkle! ;p

Hello little tiny feet!

And you know the next time I go to New York, I’m going to be taking more photos of this cute little one :)

Addisyn

Thursday, July 1st, 2010

My cousin Leslie had her baby! I did her maternity shoot not too long ago.

I couldn’t make it to the hospital to take pictures of Addisyn, but I was able to get some shots of her a few days after Leslie and Jesse brought her home from the hospital.

Here’s Addisyn. We woke her up from her nap. She’s a bit tired.

I love pictures of crying babies!

Sucking on her fingers.

hello!

Feet!

Baby’s feet with big sister’s feet.

Alyssa and Addisyn. Alyssa calls her baby Addy ;)

Sleeping babies are cute too!!

Baby’s first bath!

All clean, but not too happy.

Alyssa brushing Addy’s hair after her bath.

I’m tired, leave me alone.

Good night baby Addy.

Peacefully sleeping.

I love babies! I’m actually a really big baby hog :p

I can’t wait to see this little girl grow up! She’s gonna be a cute one!

Leslie’s Maternity shoot

Thursday, June 17th, 2010

My cousin Leslie is having her second kid! Her name is Addisyn.

Addy for short.

These were Alyssa‘s first shoes (her first kid) and these will be Addisyn’s first shoes as well.

Here’s a family photo! Alyssa, where is Addisyn??

Kissing mommy’s belly.

I asked Alyssa to put her hands on her mom’s stomach. So this is what she did. So cute!

Kissing mommy’s belly again.

Just chillin.

Alyssa trying to make a heart.

She thought no one would see her eating grass. (we all saw it)

I love mommy!

I love my parents!

Jesse is asking Leslie where Alyssa is. Where did she go?

Jesse taking pictures of Alyssa. She’s not having it.

Smelling the flowers.

Can you find Alyssa?

Addisyn is actually due today but she’s not coming out! She’ll be out by the end of this week though. I’m excited! Newborn photos are to come once Addisyn comes out!!

Brennon 1 month

Friday, June 11th, 2010

Brennon was born April 25.

I was able to do his mom’s maternity photos and take photos at the baby shower.

I love babies. So doing baby portraits is fun for me. (I love playing with older kids too. They do a lot of unscripted things that makes photos a lot more interesting).

Brennons a little bit older than a month, and he’s one sturdy and active baby. He was moving and rolling around.

I had Jasmine (Brennon’s mom) send me photos that she really liked so that I could give her something along the same lines. I like doing it because it tells me what type of photos people like and want from me. I’m here to please!

I call this the Austin Powers pose.

I love crying babies! The photos come out soo cute!

Here he is with his mommy.

He’s so adorable!

Grandma wanted a picture of him in this hat. I don’t think he liked it too much. And he has a drop of milk on his chin ;)

His little feet!

His little hands.

Sleeping comfortably.

His eyes kept following me. He LOVES the camera! He’s a model in the making!

Cuteness!

I love this picture! hahaha

Wrong finger kid!

Here he is with his Grandma!

Jasmine wanted to something with the wedding rings.

We though of doing something unique. :)

You’re probably wondering why there are soo many black and white photos. I just think they look more classic :)

This session took about 2 hours to do. Which I would recommend for anyone looking to do baby portraits. Why?  Because not only is there time in taking the photos, but the baby should get time to rest in between, and also get fed.

I was thinking I should start a baby package where I would do a bundled price (obviously at reduced prices) and do maternity portraits, baby shower, day 1, and then every month until the baby turns a year old. Just a thought.

Stone 1 Month

Tuesday, June 8th, 2010

Stone is a little over a month now. I was there to take his photos at the hospital, baby shower, and his mom’s maternity photos.

I was getting tired of looking at Jasmine’s photos of him. Why? Because they are all from her camera phone!

So these photos are WAY better then her dinky camera phone photos!

Be ready to be wow’ed by cuteness!

His little feet!

He’s happy!

Model status!

Naked boy!

what?

Here he is modeling for me.

Looking off.

Hello!

And last but not least, his baby belly!

For family and friend’s of Jasmine and Jorge, there is a gallery for you that I can link you to if you email me or either one of them with the rest of the pictures!

I hope you enjoyed!

Stone

Tuesday, May 4th, 2010

Stone was born April 25, 2010. These photos that are coming up were taken April 26.

Let me just tell you a story about how I came to take pictures when he was less 24 hours after he was born.

Me and his mom Jasmine are friends- you can see her maternity photos and the baby shower photos that I did for her.

I came down to San Diego for a few days on Sunday the 25th and we had previously decided to hang out on Monday. I text messaged her sunday night. I then got a message a few hours later saying “uh.. Jas had her baby today. She and baby are doing well”. Apparently I had text messaged her while she was in the middle labor with Stone.

So of course I got super excited! Because she was due this past weekend while I was supposed to be in Mexico. So I’m really happy that I got to see Stone and Jasmine and Jorge.

So these pictures are of Stone Monday afternoon at the hospital. He’s less than 24 hours in these photos!

I’m really happy I was able to capture these moments for her :)

Stone is so precious!

Jasmine and Stone’s hands.

Stone’s little feet!

Jasmine with Stone.

Getting burped.

Hello there precious!

Learning how to swaddle.

Stone and his dad Jorge.

Family Photo.

I hope you enjoyed these photos! I told Stone he may hate me now for making him naked (I didn’t pst the naked photos) and being a little bit cold, but he’ll love me in the future so that he has these photos :)

Good thing I like kids. I told Jasmine she can’t go MIA on me just because she had Stone.

Tiffany Perry

Wednesday, April 14th, 2010

I did headshot for Tiffany Perry. She’s from New York but moved out here to Los Angeles and is an aspiring actress.

The first few pictures are at the Thompson Hotel in Beverly Hills.

If you don’t know, I can’t do just simple headshots. So I had to add in some creativity at some point. :)

And these next few picture are just around Beverly Hills.

Kwok Family

Friday, April 9th, 2010

I did a family shoot for the Kwok Family.

I did Jordan and Averi’s Christmas photos this past year. So I knew what to expect with them. (I had to bribe them after each photo with candy)

All these shots were taken at Laguna Beach.

Here are Chris and the kids.

Here are Sue and the kids walking to where we’re going to take the pictures.

Here’s the whole family.

Jordan likes to not look at the camera. And when he does, he’s usually making a funny face.

This is one of the few pictures where I have everyone actually looking at the camera.

So it looks like Sue is ready to catch Chris if he and the kids fall back, but she’s not. She’s actually trying to keep her balance. :)

Chris REALLY wanted to take photos right here. Sue didn’t, she said it was the ugliest spot on the beach. But we indulged him anyways.

Here are the kids.

I’m definitely working on my photoshop skills. And let’s just say I’m not that great yet trying to get rid of things and adding things. You can definitely tell where I tried to photoshop. Good thing Sue’s sister, Haejean is good at photo shop! She can photo shop the photos that they want. But here is my attempt.

I love how you can see their reflections in the water.

I like this photo. The water was coming up and it was really cold and the kids were trying to run away from the water. But Chris wanted them to pose for the picture :)

Hello Averi.

Jordan is off in his own little world.

I love love love these next 2.

Haha. She totally got caught.

I love reflection photos.

Hello

So we had lunch and the kids were kind of over taking pictures. But we still attempted, a little bit.

I like this picture because she’s totally drooling.

I’m gonna leave you with this photo.

The End.

xoxo
